Ayade continues to clampdown on drug dealers and users in the State.


In a continuous operation to zero crime within Cross River State, the State Security Department again has bursted several drug hideout in Calabar.

A lead team by the State Security Advisers in collaboration with the Nigerian Police, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency – NDLEA and the Cross River State Homeland Security Department, have uncovered seven (7) major hideouts within Calabar South and Calabar Municipality.

An operation which began in the early hours of the morning have recorded a “tremendous success”, the team said with multiple arrest made.

The various locations in Calabar South are; Bogobiri, Murray, Egerton, Lugard and Marina. While Calabar Municipality; Etta Agbo and Ediba respectively.
